Dean Owens is a spellbinding live performer, armed with a searingly soulful
voice, skilfully crafted Songs and earworm inducing melodies. Hard to pin
down to a particular genre, Dean’s songs are a unique blend of Americana and
Scottish roots. They showcase the unfettered enthusiasm of a rock n roller,
combined with the sympathetic delivery of Folk’s best storytellers.

Dean’s fans include BBC Radio 2 legend, Bob Harris, who described Dean as
“One of my favourite artists”; together with Authors, Ian Rankin, of Rebus
fame, and Trainspotting writer, Irvine Welsh, for whom Dean is “the pulse of
our lives”
