Acoustic Music at Montrose Playhouse present in Cinema 3, on Tuesday, 7 th
May at 8.p.m., Americana/Indie Folk Band, The Hackles, from Astoria, Oregon,
the furthest west State in the USA.
The Hackles are returning to Montrose Playhouse, by popular demand, after a
cracking gig in January 2023. During that brief tour last year, The Hackles
made their U.K. debut in Trio format at Glasgow’s Celtic Connections festival,
winning universal praise, following a sold-out headline show.
The Hackles began as a Duo of Kati Claborn and Luke Ydstie, core members of
the band, Blind Pilot, impressing with their sumptuous vocal harmonies and
writing skills. The Hackles have now become a Trio, augmented by Fiddler and
Vocalist, Halli Anderson, of the band, River Whyness.
Admission is £12.50, payable in Cash at the Door, or tickets can be purchased
beforehand by emailing brucekenneth130@gmail.com.
