We’re proud to host a powerful and inspiring documentary in support of Ataxia UK — a charity that means a lot to our community — especially as one of our regulars lives with the condition and helped bring this film and event together.
You might wonder, what is Ataxia?
Ataxia is a rare neurological condition that affects coordination, balance and speech — and this film tells the courageous story of Ben Spencer, a man determined not to let his diagnosis define him. From visiting every London Underground station on foot, to climbing Snowdon, and eventually completing the London Marathon in a wheelchair, this is a story about strength, hope, and never giving up in the face of adversity.
Half of all ticket proceeds go directly to Ataxia UK, and donations will be very welcome on the night.
