David is a local designer / Part 2 Architect. A keen music, film and theatre fan he has also Chaired the local Montrose Music Festival for 6 years. His love for film and design is what spurred him to put together a scheme for a cinema and art centre for Montrose and so the Playhouse Project was born within the former Swimming Pool on the Mall.
Kay is passionate about cinema, theatre, music & arts. Living in the area since 1991 she has served on several committees and is a long-term volunteer for Oxfam. She has a degree in Business from Abertay University and has many years work experience in recruitment, sales, marketing and events.
Kristin, is Partner in local family run firm of solicitors, Scott Alexander, and practices conveyancing and private client law. She is currently acting on our behalf in the purchase of the old swimming pool. Her favourite movie genre is RomCom as it reminds her of her own life.
Laura, Independent Mortgage Adviser, Gill Financial Services Ltd, Property Manager, Scott Alexander Solicitors. Laura has worked in the Financial Industry since leaving school and hopes her knowledge and experience will make her job as Treasurer an easy one. Her favourite movie genre is RomCom as she is a hopeless Romantic.
Enthusiastic about increasing the range of leisure options for not only visitors and people in our area. David is presently involved in a few local groups such as the YM and our historic golf course committee, and supports many sporting and creative groups in the Montrose area.
Keith is the latest addition to the working group and hopes to use his business consultancy experience to help raise funding through both community and corporate channel. As an engineer and experienced programme/project manager he will also be actively engaged in the strip out and refurbishment of the building itself
Janice provides a wide range of business development and capacity building support to social firms and enterprises as well as support and advice to organisations who want to develop local community initiatives. She is an Accredited Social Return on Investment Practitioner and has a particular interest in social impact and community benefits.
Keira is a full time Student at Robert Gordons University studying Management with HRM, and also working part time at local business Pert Bruce Construction. Keira has a keen interest in film, music and theatre and had been part of many performances with different amateur dramatic societies in Montrose.
