Social Development Officer – 20 hours a week, permanent

Start Date – February 2021
Salary – £15k + per annum, depending on experience

As The Montrose Playhouse prepares to open its doors in the autumn of 2021, are you the right person to come on board with us at this exciting time? We are a registered charity who through fundraising, grant awards and sponsorship are transforming an old swimming pool into a vibrant 3 screen cinema and cultural art centre. Social programmes and events aimed at improving the lives of people in our community are at our heart.
A minimum of three years’ relevant experience in a similar role, Our Social Development Officer must be experienced, skilled and passionate about helping transform the lives of others by developing programmes and events, securing funding and working closely with the Playhouse management team and relevant third-party organisations. They must also have excellent communication skills, and the confidence and ability to engage with a wide range of people.
A relevant degree would be desirable but is not essential
